Einar built a beautiful teak salon table.  It extends forward from the mast to a point about a foot aft of the salon bulkhead.  This allows access to the port side from the forward end of the table.
 Starboard side folded down.  The central hatches access wine bottle storage.

 The forward leg projects through the floor and attaches to an athwartship stringer.
